MY POLICIES
Maintaining Economic Growth for Jobs and Services in Melbourne's East

A strong economy creates jobs.

A strong economy creates the financial capacity for a Labor government to invest in health, education, transport and community infrastructure.

In the current environment, management of the Victorian economy is the single most important test of the Government. |

I have extensive experience in economic policy, including a PhD in economics from Yale University, an internship at the U.S. Federal Reserve in Washington D.C. and a consultancy at the World Bank. |
Local Infrastructure for Kilsyth

We need improved netball facilities at Pink's Reserve.

I will lobby for funding from the State Government.

We also need funding for Neighbourhood Houses and locally based social infrastructure. |
Better Transport Infrastructure for Melbourne's East

I will fight for extra car parking at the Mooroolbark train station. |

I will also push for delivery of the Government's Transport Plan. This will boost the number of trains and Smart Bus routes servicing Kilsyth. |
Industry Development for Jobs Growth

Jobs creation requires pro-active government engagement. |

I will help develop economic policies to strengthen Ringwood as a growing hub for locally based jobs. |

I will develop policies to continue to grow Victoria's largest export: education exports. |

I will push for investment that builds on Victoria's success in hi-tech industries such as solar cells and information technology. |
